Leadership – Development of programs/webinars that target leadership, recommend existing programs focused on developing leadership skills to members. Recommend methods for increasing awareness to upper levels regarding importance of leadership training. Lead: Kris Reber

Advocacy – Develop policies and action plans for items such as parental leave and employment equity.  Leads: Christiane Dammann and Kerri Machut

Health/Wellness – Engage members on importance of wellness and adaptation of field to consider health and wellness strategies to prevent burnout, provide role models and support.  Lead: Dena Hubbard

Mentoring/Career development – Determine mentoring structure and create forum through listserve/website.  Leads: Jasmeet Kataria-Hale and Krithika Lingappan

Membership – Ascertain what the members expect and need from a WiN membership – early project to report back to steering committee within 3 months.  Lead: Namrita Odackal

Networking/Communication – Discuss and recommend ways to enhance networking skills through development of programs, webinars – gatekeepers of spreading information. Website editor and co-editor are housed under this committee.  Leads: Clara Song, Jessica Madden, and Karen Hussein
